The project you see here is a component of my graduation work, I used the best pieces of paper that I had found in the Academy to create the text ‘trash is such a waste’. When I was hanging the pieces of paper, other Academy student started to recognize their own work in it. They asked me why i was using their drawings and prints, because it was there property. I simply explained that I found them in the left over bin’s around the Academy such as those at the pubic printing department. And since they threw it a way it was free to use.

The publication of this pieces is printed in black and white on some of the same found paper. The size of the publication is equal to the size of one single paper used in the artwork.

The artwork is now part of the office interior of design agency WK-ontwerpers in The Hague.
